FIELD: general-purpose electronic circuits, such as those for data coding, decoding, and conversion in their transfer between distant subscribers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has data transmitting and receiving units connected to opposite ends of communication line. Transmission unit has parallel-to-serial code converter and scrambler; receiving unit has serial-to-parallel code converter and descrambler. These units function to identify definite codes in scrambled bit stream which are formed into random (unknown in advance) time moments. These moments serve as initial marks for determining boundaries between bytes in data bit stream and used for synchronous setting of scrambler and descrambler pseudorandom bit sequence generators in same states. In this way start bits determining boundaries between bytes and service frames designed for code synchronization of scrambler and descrambler are removed from data stream.
EFFECT: enhanced data transfer speed.
