FIELD: methods of separation of solid particles in air streams.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of solid particles separation in an airflow and may be used for extraction of the metals-containing waste, for example from an electronic scrap. The method of solid particles separation in an airflow used mainly at extraction of metallic waste from an electronic scrap provides for formation of an stream, into which introduce a mix of a source crude with its subsequent separation and withdrawal. Separation of the source material is conducted in the air separator, composed of two telescopic cylinders, where the solids are translocated on a circumference by batches from down to the top -by means of the longitudinal blades established on the internal surface of the inlet cylinder. At that the heavy fraction is dropped downwards and is translocated in a direction, opposite to the motion of the airflow to the window of the metallic waste discharge, and impact upon it with an additional airflow. The telescopic cylinders are mounted with a capability of simultaneous rotation in respect to the cover on the input cylinder. The cylinder is supplied with a drive of rotation and around its horizontal axis, which is inclined at an angle upward from the air separator inlet to its outlet. In the lower part of a side wall of the cover of the input cylinder there is a through hole for withdrawal of the metal-containing fraction. At that the telescopic connection of the outlet cylinder with the inlet cylinder forms an aid to control the aerodynamic mode of separation The aid for. Adaptation for feeding in a source material is installed on the cover of the inlet cylinder, on the internal surface of which there are longitudinal blades are established, and the light fractions outlet branch-pipes are mounted on the cover of the outlet cylinder supplied with a drive of the reciprocal motion.
