FIELD: pipeline laying, particularly to run gas pipelines in permafrost ground with the use of supports built on piles and to determine threshold pressing-in and pulling-out forces acting on the piles.
SUBSTANCE: device has three piles driven in ground and spaced equal distances one from another along a straight line, pile driving mechanism and pile pulling mechanism. Pile driving mechanism is made as hydraulic jack installed on the pile. Pile pulling mechanism is formed as two hydraulic jacks connected one to another by thrust I-beam. The hydraulic jacks of pile pulling mechanism are installed on support panels between extreme piles and spaced equal distances from the piles. All three jacks are arranged below thrust beam, rest upon it and hydraulically connected one to another in series. Installed in the first hydraulic jack is check valve. The third hydraulic jack has control pressure gauge. When high-pressure liquid is supplied to hydraulic jacks pulling force is applied to extreme piles and pressing in force is acted on central one by hydraulic jacks.
