FIELD: acoustoelectronics; narrow-band surface acoustic-wave filters characterized in low temperature coefficient of frequency.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method depends on measurement of distance between interdigital transducers by deforming crystal lattice of piezoelectric substrate. Disposed on underside of piezoelectric substrate is bimetal plate or strip of material whose coefficient of temperature expansion is higher than that of piezoelectric substrate.
EFFECT: enhanced temperature stability of device, reduced central frequency drift at ambient temperature fluctuations.
