FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method involves growing quails in cage batteries with differentiated setting density and providing local heating in each of the cages; providing setting density per 1 head: from 1 day to 14 days - 40 cm2, from 15 days to 21 days - 60 cm2; from 22 days to 49 days 100 cm2; keeping intermittent heating mode by means of infrared lamps with power of 300 W according to following pattern: from 1 day to 21 days - 30 min heating, 15 min switching off, from 22 days to 49 days - switching off heaters, with temperature in poultry house being maintained at 20-22°C level.
EFFECT: increased retention and productivity of poultry and reduced consumption of power.
