SUBSTANCE: method involves filling forms containing objective and subjective items describing life quality and their value in points. The questionnaires show and test social functions of a patient and his welfare and domestic attitude, health condition as a whole, critical patient attitude to his mental condition and entourage. Generalizing coefficient is calculated from a formula depending on the following factors GK=(LQ+SF)/2. The dissociation coefficient DC is calculated between objective and subjective items from a formula of DC= LQo/LQs. GK being between 0.85 and 1 and DC being between 0.9 to 1.1, no mental disease available is to be diagnosed. The DC value being greater than 1.1, depressive, neurotic, upochondric mental disorders are to be diagnosed. The DC value being less than 0.9, dementia, schizophrenia, schizo affective and schizoformed disorders are to be diagnosed. The lower is the GK value and the more are DC value deviation from 0.9-1.1 towards greater or lesser value zone, the higher is mental disorders severity degree.

EFFECT: high reliability of diagnosis.
