FIELD: rocket fuel technologies.

SUBSTANCE: phlegmatizing cooling agent composition for burning away solid rocket fuel charges when destroying large-size channel charges in rocket engine bodies and other explosives and wastes thereof in containers. Composition contains following components, wt %: hydrolyzed polyacrylamide 0.8-8.0, potassium bichromate 0.05-3.0, sodium thiosulfate 0.02-1.2, sodium and/or potassium nitrate 0.1-70.0, ammonium nitrate 0.1-70.0, and water - the balance. Composition may further contain: supplementary cooling agent, e.g., oxalate salts or organic amides in amount 0.1-20%; cryogenic additive, e.g., diethylene glycol or ethylene glycol in amount 0.1-10%, and 0.1 to 30% of polyacrylamide gel.

EFFECT: enabled creation of completely combustible composition functioning as cooling agent and toxic gas absorber.
