FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: method includes excitation of active matter under effect of high strength electric field and potential by one explicit electrode. In this case, generation of light flux is carried out. Light signal is transformed into electrical signal being functionally related to level of potential of electric field. Value of exciting potential to be measured is judged from value of received signal. Method provides continuous contact-free dynamic measurement of permanent and variable voltages at minimal extraction of power by measuring channel from output circuit.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurement.
