FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for quantitative determination of concentration of trace impurities in gases by means of chromatographic analysis. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the ionization discharge high-frequency detector comprises a chamber in the form of a quartz tube with a gas chromatographic mixture input channel and an outlet channel, as well as external discharge electrodes placed on the tube, connected to the inductance coil of the high-frequency generator, wherein generator is equipped with high-quality inductance coil, toroidal transformer is connected in circuit of connection of which with discharge electrode with possibility of current measurement in parallel resonant circuit formed by inductance, electrodes and plasma in interelectrode space, value of which depends on the composition of the gas chromatographic mixture.

EFFECT: high reliability of the detector and reliability of its readings.
