FIELD: electric engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device is intended for usage at railroads for finding distance to point of single-phase ground in three-phase electric power lines of block system. According to both versions, device has test power source, one single-phase and two three-phase commutation apparatuses, three current detectors and measuring module. According to the first version of the design, measuring unit has four adders, mini-selector, divider, three multipliers, and constant value preset unit and scale member. According to the second version, device has additional fourth current detector and measuring module has three adders, mini-selector, three dividers, three multipliers, constant value preset unit and scale unit.

EFFECT: simplification in design; improved precision of finding point of single-phase ground.
