SUBSTANCE: method involves applying radiation via vagina fornix. Blue and infrared radiation is used when treating acute adnexitis cases or exacerbated chronic adnexitis cases. Chronic adnexitis in remission stage being the case, red and infrared radiation is used. The total treatment course is 8-10 days long. Each treatment is applied daily and is 12-15 min long. Light-emitting diodes are used as light sources. Infrared radiation source has wavelength of 870-920 nm and power density of 18-20 W/cm². Red radiation source has wavelength of 660-680 nm and power density of 3-4 W/cm². Blue radiation source has wavelength of 420-450 nm and power density of 3-4 W/cm². Device has intracavitary light guide nozzle, monochromatic red, infrared and blue light radiation sources and power supply source. Red and infrared radiation sources usable for treating acute adnexitis cases or exacerbated chronic adnexitis cases are mounted on a detachable plate and blue and infrared radiation sources usable for treating chronic adnexitis cases in remission stage are mounted on another detachable plate.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of differential treatment of adnexitis cases depending on disease acuteness.
