FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting the workpiece into rotation and setting the tool in forward and transverse motion and rotation. The tool is made of a disk secured to the mandrel made of toroidal flexible shell. The shell comprises abrasion-diamond layer on the outer surface, bushing set in the opening in the toroidal shell, disk mounted on its face, and connecting rod with nipple for supplying compressed air that sets the toroidal shell in working condition. The mandrel with the disk is set in the rolling bearing in the hollow coaxial spindle, and the diamond-abrasion layer is set in vibration in the axial direction. The face of the spindle is inclined at an acute angle to the plane perpendicular to the axis of the disk allowing the toroidal shell to be in a contact with the disk.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and quality of working.
