FIELD: inorganic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing silicon-containing raw for preparing highly-dispersed silicon dioxide. Method for preparing silicon dioxide involves treatment of ash from central heating and power plant with a fluorinating agent followed by absorption formed gaseous tetrafluorosilane with ammonium fluoride and separation of silicon dioxide formed in the following neutralization reaction. Mixture of natural calcium fluoride or waste from aluminum manufacture with 50-55% sulfuric acid is used as a fluorinating agent. Invention provides the development of the method with improved ecological value and reduced danger due to elimination of highly toxic chemical reagents and provides utilization of secondary raw resources for preparing the valuable product.
