FIELD: turbine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in turbomachines with sliding bearings and axial direction of working medium flow. Proposed method includes measuring of radial clearance in each cellular segment of seal by means of pneumatic-type actual radial clearance pickup and automatic feeding of power working medium through cellular structure. Delivery of power working medium is regulated separately for each cellular segment of seal.
EFFECT: improved reliability of turboset by reduction of cross forces acting onto rotor and causing vibration, reduced leakage of working medium through seal.
