FIELD: machinery building, particularly noise and vibration reduction means.

SUBSTANCE: vibration damper comprises body, floating support fittings with orifice for fastening bolt receiving. Fastening bolt secures vibration damper to object to be protected against vibration. Vibration damper also has resilient member, lid and fastening means to secure floating support fittings, namely support units, to resilient member. Body is of stepped cylindrical shape and is formed as a cup with main, namely larger, and additional cavities. Base of additional body cavity has threaded orifice for fastening bolt which connects vibration damper to load-bearing structure, namely to foundation. Outer cylindrical surface of main, larger, body cavity is provided with thread and is adapted for vibratory damper lid connection. Resilient member is made as end thick-walled washer with rigid plate-like members arranged from top and bottom ends thereof. Plate-like members are made as discs with orifices formed of metal, composite or other vibration absorbing material and are located in main cavity of vibration damper body along with resilient member. Fastening means which secures floating support fittings to resilient member is made as a reel with one flange arranged in threaded cavity of floating support fittings having ledge for above flange receiving. Another flange of the reel is installed in free body cavity and tightly fits inner surface thereof. The flange rests upon resilient member through plate-like member from main body cavity side. Fastening means of floating support fittings or floating support fittings have composite structure.

EFFECT: simplified structure, reduced height and weight of vibration damper.
