FIELD: electrode-type steam generators at boiler volume of 25 l not to be subjected to obligatory registration in Boiler Inspection agencies; generation of process steam of low and mean pressures; light, food-processing and other industries.

SUBSTANCE: boiler electrodes are made in form of rectangular loops including the current conductor located on upper shorter side of loop; opposite longer sides are interconnected by couplings located at equal distances relative to one another; boiler is additionally provided with feed reservoir installed near electrode boiler and is connected with it by steam and water lines; it is provided with heating unit in upper part. Feed reservoir makes it possible to increase water and steam volume of steam generator without impairing the Boiler Inspection standards at smooth and stable operation of electric starting equipment.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability; increased generation of steam.
