FIELD: medicine, oncology.

SUBSTANCE: one should cytologically study tumor punctate before therapy for the purpose to verify morphological diagnosis, smears should be restained by Felgen's technique to detect average values for the area of tumor cells nuclei in sq. mcm and DNA content in ploidy units (c) and ploidy value should be compared with a rated one calculated by the following formula: MD = 0.0357 MS. If ploidy value is below a rated one it is possible to predict favorable result of the disease, and if it is above a rated one - unfavorable result should be predicted.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction.
