METHOD OF DETERMINING DURATION OF RECURRENCE-FREE INTERVAL IN SEROUS OVARIAN CANCER Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/50

Abstract RU 2613302 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used to determine duration of recurrence-free interval in serous ovarian cancer. For this purpose, during full volume operation in ovarian cancer patients HE4 level is determined in tumor tissue homogenate, and if its value is from 4,768 pM/g to 5,674 pM/g of raw tissue, recurrence-free interval duration is predicted for 6 months or more, and if its value is from 7,995 pM/g to 9,339 pM/g of raw tissue, duration of recurrence-free interval is predicted for less than 6 months.

EFFECT: method enables assessing biological activity of primary ovarian tumor, individual prognosis of disease and further approach of patients with multiple playback in healthcare facilities of oncological profile, possessing biochemical laboratories.
