FIELD: chemical industry; production of carbamate, ammonia and carbon dioxide.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of chemical industry. The device has a desorber having in essence a cylindrical body closed on its opposite ends by corresponding bottoms and equipped with the located near to them delivering and withdrawing holes for a distillation of liquids, the heat exchanger and control devices necessary for distillation. It also has a cradle, on which the upright standing body supports. The body of the desorber is made with a capability of its mounting on the cradle in two different vertical positions at the expense of rotation of this desorber by 180° relative to its horizontal axis (х-х) of symmetry. The method allowing to increase the service life of such a device provides, that on expiration of the given time span after the wear of the upper part of the heat exchanger will reach the marginal magnitude, the body of the desorber should be turned by 180° relatively its horizontal axis (х-х) of symmetry. The given technical solution due to its design and functional features ensures an increase of the service life of the device.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an increase of the service life of the device.
