FIELD: spraying equipment, particularly for applying polymeric powder coatings in electrostatic field.
SUBSTANCE: gas flow distribution device has inlet flow channel, a number of controllable working channels communicated with incoming flow channel and provided with inlet fittings and throttle valves. Throttle valves have needles installed in supplementary bleeder channels crossing above working channels. Incoming flow channel is formed as a bleeder in gas flow distribution device body having branches connected with each working channel. Each branch and supplementary control bleeder channels thereof are also made as bleeders. Diameters of working channel branches in direction from incoming flow inlet correspond to the following relations: S3>S2≥S1, S3>S2+S1, where S is cross-sectional area of corresponding working chamber branch. Numbers correspond to levels of each working chamber branch location in direction from the inlet. Throttle valve also has control screw provided with throttling needle installed in body orifice by thread. Control screw is provided with rest arranged in control screw installation area and adapted for body orifice sealing. The rest is fixedly secured to control screw outside the body. Control screw also has bush made of wear-resistant resilient elastic material, for instance of silicone. Inner bush diameter is equal to screw rod diameter, height thereof is equal or slightly more than that of control screw rod installed in position in which control screw extends for maximal possible distance from the body. Silicone bush is arranged between the body and control screw rest coaxially with control screw rod. Washer for pressing the bush against the body is fixedly installed on device body. Central washer part has inner conical profile extending along longitudinal axis of symmetry thereof. The washer faces the body by major base of conical profile having lesser diameter, which is equal or slightly smaller than outer silicone washer diameter.
EFFECT: simplified control of gas distribution among sprayer channels due to minimized control interdependence for each channel and increased control accuracy.
