FIELD: laser engineering; manufacture of laser radiation frequency converters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preparation of charge whose composition is defined by ABC region of Li2O-B2O3-MoO3 three-component mixture diagram where coordinates of compounds are determined by the following points, mole-fraction: A:Li2O-0.24; B2O3-0.60; MoO3-0.16; B:Li2O-0.20; B2O3-0.20; MoO3-0.60; C:Li2O-0.3; B2O3-0.13; MoO3-057.Charge is mixed and is loaded in furnace having two and more heating zones. Melting is performed in portions at 850°C. Solution-melt is kept at mixing, after which it is cooled to temperature which exceeds saturation temperature by 5°C; then, seed is introduced and crystal is grown at decreasing the temperature by individual control temperature decreasing rate for each heating zone of furnace by non-linear graph at increased rate of crystal growth. Temperature decreasing rate may be similar for each heating zone (synchronous method) or different (asynchronous method). Thus perfect crystals are obtained at mass no less than 400 g at insignificant inclusions in peripheral zone. Crystals may be used in non-linear optics in the amount of up to 90%.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
