FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: thermal-sensitive converter is placed in the flow for measuring flow temperature along with thermal-sensitive transformer with heater for measuring flow speed, and temperature of environment and temperature of device are measured. If difference of temperature of thermal-sensitive transformers (overheating) is within limit of preset range, then power of heating is constant, in case of change of flow speed, overheating changes; if overheating of device exceeds limits of given range, than power of heating is changes until overheating falls into given range. Value of measured flow speed is calculated from mathematical formula with consideration of measured overheating and heating power.

EFFECT: higher precision.
