FIELD: oil-and-gas producing industry; methods of measuring of a gas or a liquid flow speed.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is intended to be used at measurements of a liquid or a gas flow speed by means of heat loss anemometers. In a gas or a liquid flow locate a thermo-sensitive transformer for measuring of a flow temperature and a temperature-sensitive transformer with a heating unit (a thermoanemometer) for measuring of the flow speed and conduct the measurements of the ambient temperature and the temperature of the thermoanemometer. If the difference of the temperatures of the temperature-sensitive transformers (overheating) lays within the limits of the preset range, then the power of a heating is constant, and at an alteration of the speed of the flow the overheating varies; if the overheating of the thermoanemometer overcomes the limits of the preset range, then the power of the heating varies before the overheating hits in the preset band. The value of the measured speed of the flow is calculated by a formula considering the measured overheating and the power of the heating. The technical result is an increased accuracy of measurements of a flow speed within a wide range of speeds and temperatures at a high performance.
