FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement of magnetic induction by a differential magnetometer, including measuring and compensation channels. Gist of the invention consists in that by means of a measure of a magnetic induction each channel is calibrated in its own orthogonal coordinate system, and after installing the channels in the regular places, an orthogonal coupling matrix between the coordinate systems of the channels is assessed by comparing the synchronous corrected results of the measurement of the homogeneous MPD.

EFFECT: increased calibration accuracy of the differential magnetometer, including the option with sensors without cardan suspensions.
