FIELD: measuring engineering.

SUBSTANCE: the proposed invention is related to automatic correction of errors of measuring devices. The correction is achieved by means of a measurement on the basis of estimation of standard values. The measurement is periodically realized in the process between measurements, carried out under the action of destabilizing factors. In this case the standard values of an input measured signal are automatically remembered or corrected in the typical and (or) empirically obtained points of the measurement range in correspondence with the ratio of these points. The obtained corrected standard values are used for obtaining the approximations for reproduction of the function of the best uniform approximation. This function is applied for interpolation and extrapolation of the values of standard signal.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements.
