FIELD: war materiel; protection of flying vehicle against homing missile.

SUBSTANCE: proposed towed false air target is made in form of streamlined body which is provided with rope and drogue in whose head and tail compartments drogues are mounted coaxially with hull; target is also provided with two rotating rings; ring of head compartment has hole for passage of rope. Mounted in between rings of head and tail compartments is cylindrical fairing which rigidly secured on them; it is rotatable relative to drogue axis and is provided with cut in end part for free escape of rope.

EFFECT: improved aerodynamic characteristics of towed false air target.
