FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: towed air false target comprises shooting mark connected to aircraft by means of rope. Ring is installed in head part of shooting mark with the possibility of rotation relative to axis of shooting mark and a hole in the wall for free pulling of rope. It is wound in several layers on shooting mark body. Head part of shooting mark comprises coaxially installed composite flange made of two or more components with the possibility of release in the end of rope winding and fixed by rope in initial condition. Ring is arranged as composite from two or more components with the possibility of release. Components of ring are retained in initial condition by composite flange till the end of rope winding.
EFFECT: improved aerodynamics of shooting mark in mode of towed flight of the mark with preservation of stable motion of mark in process of rope winding after separation.
