FIELD: registration of ionizing emissions.
SUBSTANCE: detector has gas radiator, light-collecting system and photo-electronic transformer. Radiator is filled with mixture of CO2 gas and SF6 gas with relation of partial pressures respectively 1:9 and 1:11. working pressure of gas mixture is determined by mathematical formula, connecting mass of charged particle, light speed in vacuum, threshold energy of registered particles and a constant, dependent of mixture composition.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity.
