FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises scintillation transducer including neutron decelerator made from hydrogen-containing substance, scintillator and photo electronic multiplier, and signal electric processing unit. Said scintillator is made up of assembly of parallel luminescent fibers sensitive to thermal neutrons of the material based on mixed gadolinium, yttrium and europium oxides. Reflecting mirror is arranged on one side of the scintillation transducer case, while, on its opposite side, a lens to focus fiber luminescent light on photo electronic multiplier photo cathode. Fiver scintillator is arranged partially inside aforesaid neutron decelerator representing a cylinder or a hexagonal prism with diametre exceeding that of assembly, and partially inside said neutron decelerator, and partially, outside the decelerator.
EFFECT: efficient registration of fast and heat neutrons, and gamma-radiation associated with neutron radiation of fission materials. 1 dwg
