FIELD: power devices including permanent-magnet drives for any mechanisms using magnetic power coupling of moving links.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic system of adjustable traction force drive has permanent-magnet core forming at least one nonmagnetic gap. Placed in gap is armature for displacement in plane orthogonal to lines of force of permanent-magnet field. At least one more permanent magnet is installed along armature motion path for engaging one of working edges of armature when its other working edge is in magnetic field of preceding magnet. Permanent magnets are distinguished by at least one sectional area orthogonal to lines of force of magnetic fields. When installing at least one additional magnet along armature movement path, both magnets should be disposed at distance allowing them to engage armature simultaneously.
EFFECT: enlarged adjustment range of magnetic traction force on armature.
