FIELD: printing cartridges.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge is elongated horizontally and is loaded to printer carriage via horizontal relative movement, has rectangular prismatic body of printing cartridge. Body has lower wall, carrying practically flat printing head with matrix, which spans vertically along low-size nozzles, from which drops of ink come practically vertically downwards during operation of cartridge. Cartridge has upper wall, opposite and practically parallel to lower wall, which intersects with upper wall, forming a limit for upper wall. Also cartridge has holder, reliably held at upper wall of cartridge body for printing along aforementioned limit for holding cartridge inside printer carriage, while holder is displaced from limit of upper wall.

EFFECT: decreased printer height.
