FIELD: aeronautical engineering; transmission of helicopter gearboxes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gearbox has housing with units securing the gearbox to fuselage, input shaft connecting the gearbox with engine, two coaxial output shafts of opposite rotation on which main rotors are mounted, output stage of gearbox consisting of two driven spur gear wheels mounted on output shafts, two drive spur gear wheels, bevel stage of gearbox with two driven gear wheels connected with drive gear wheels of output stage and drive gear wheel connected with input shaft. Bevel stage is provided with additional drive gear wheel which is mounted on common axle; it is made in form of bevel gear trains; shaft angle of one of them is more than or is equal to orthogonal angle and shaft angle of other is lesser or is equal to orthogonal angle by the same magnitude. Driven and drive gear wheels of bevel stage have similar number of teeth at different modulus of each bevel gear trains. Driven gear wheels of bevel stage and drive gear wheels of output stage are located in gearbox housing in alternating order.
EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance and operational reliability; modifiable to helicopter arrangement.
