FIELD: aeronautical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed delta flapping-wing vehicle has skeleton with articulated wings including spar, non-rigid skin and armor, steering trapezium with mast, flexible rod with tension rollers, pilot's suspension system, drive member and stabilizer. Proposed delta flapping wing-vehicle is provided with lever fitted with self-gripping rollers; one end of lever is secured on skeleton and other end is secured to mast through tension rollers. Besides that, delta flapping-wing vehicle includes shock-absorbing members secured between wings and tightened along spar. Spar is secured below skeleton in upper part of steering trapezium for holding the wings in horizontal position on ground; it is connected with mast by means of tubular rods with hinges and guide sliding bush on mast. Flexible rod of pilot's suspension system is connected with mast and may be wedged in self-gripping rollers provided with release lever connected with cord secured in lower part of steering trapezium within zone of pilot's hand reach.
EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced mass.
