FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has piston with rod provided with hole in the middle into which piston roller is press-fitted by middle part and is provided with symmetrically arranged ball heads on ends. Two cranks are connected by end ball heads of piston roller. Piston with rod reciprocates and rotates clockwise/counterclockwise around axis of cylinder. Each cylinder linear has intake and exhaust ports located opposite to each other in lower part in direction of piston movement. Two profiled chamfers are made on end face of each heat resistant head of piston on one half of circle. One of chamfers adjoins exhaust port. Rib is made on end face of second half of circle of heat resistant head. Said rib tightly fits other chamfer from side of exhaust port. Length of both profiled chamfers and rib over outer diameter of piston head is 5-10% greater than peripheral width of exhaust and intake ports, respectively.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine in operation.
