FIELD: weapons tests; devices for conducting light weapons tests.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for conducting tests of the light weapons, in particular, to the devices for trapping bullets during a small arms tests for compilation of the bullet-cartridge card-files. The bullet-trap contains a cylindrical body and a brake unit made out of a fibrous material produced from a set of the separate filaments of the supermode fiber type with a length of 5-20 caliber sizes of the shot small arms. Inside the body between its butt part and the brake unit there is an inlet noise suppressor of the overall length of 0.8-1.2 body diameters made as a series of the adjacent chambers formed by the ring-type diaphragms and a side wall of the body. The diaphragms have the axisymmetrical apertures enlarging along a bullet traffic path and formed by the section of the indicated diaphragms and a cone with a spatial angle of 0.2-0.8 steradian. The body has discharge holes with a diameter of 2.0 - 4.0 mm. The technical result of the invention is a decreased probability of a release of the fibrous material caused by a dissipation of the energy of the blast wave.
EFFECT: the invention ensures a decreased probability of a release of the fibrous material caused by a dissipation of the energy of the blast wave.
