SUBSTANCE: proposed bullet trap has cylindrical body and braking unit made from super high-modulus fibrous material; braking unit has density varying over cross-section: density is lesser in area of body axis; parts of braking unit are made in form of cords and are enclosed in casings made from material easily pierced by bullets; they are located longitudinally relative to bullet trap axis.
EFFECT: enhanced probability of non-destructive trapping of bullets.
