FIELD: defense industry; devices for testing of arms.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to the field of devices for test of arms, in particular to devices for trapping bullets of a small arms at making the bullet-case files. The bullet-catcher contains a cylindrical body and a brake unit made out of a fibrous material. In butt part of the cylindrical body there is a diaphragm installed at an angle of 35 - 55 ° to its axis with a hole and a cradle for placing a barrel of the fire testing arms. In the cylindrical part of the body between the brake unit and the diaphragm there is a number of discharge openings with a diameter of 20 - 40 mm, the total area of which is no less than the cross-sectional area of the body. The given design decreases probability of blowout of the fibrous material due to deflection of a shockwave aside and a dissipation of its power.
EFFECT: the invention allows to decrease probability of blowout of the fibrous material due to deflection of a shockwave aside and a dissipation of its power.
