REAPER FOR SUNFLOWER COMBINE HARVESTER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering; appliances for sunflower combine harvesters.

SUBSTANCE: proposed reaper has body and saving guards with chain and belt conveyers and cutting unit. Reaper body is secured for rotation in longitudinal direction on intermediate frame by means of coaxial feathering hinges. Reaper body is kinematically linked with intermediate frame by means of hydraulic cylinders. Mounted in upper part of intermediate frame is transversal beam. Transient board is supported by surface of transversal beam and is articulated on reaper bottom.

EFFECT: reduced losses of seeds at harvesting low-growing and tall sunflowers.
