SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The appliance 1 to the header of a grain combine harvester for harvesting sunflower comprises a finger beam 3, a segment-cutting finger unit, and lifters 2. The finger beam comprises 3 dividers with an inner bevel of 90° and a blade thickness of 0.8 mm. The dividers have restricting boards on the sides and rods to adjust the angle of their inclination within 10°. At the end of the lifters 2 a movable multifaceted element of the "propeller" 7 type is located for retracting the sunflower stalks.

EFFECT: use of the appliance to the header of a grain combine harvester for harvesting sunflower provides reduction of crop losses.
