FIELD: biotechnology, plant selection.
SUBSTANCE: tylotic culture of plumepoppy cordate plant is obtained by explant isolation from leaves or leafstalks cultivation thereof in broth until tillers are formed. Leaf explants are cultivated in modified Murashige-Skoog medium containing 1 mg/l of ascorbic acid and 10 mg/l of casein hydrolyzate, and leafstalk explants are cultivated in the similar medium containing 3 mg/l of ascorbic acid. Regenerants are planted on solid substrate.
EFFECT: new method for plant selection.
