FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, methods for plotting of article patterns and modeling and designing of clothing.
SUBSTANCE: method involves presenting convex-concave oval-shaped surface of individual's body as conventional combination of surfaces of several tree-sided pyramids; applying onto individual's surface characteristic points: C, B, F, R and basic lines of stitches and recesses, and also applying auxiliary horizontal and vertical lines; measuring figure and plotting body's developed surface-base, with waist line dividing surface of entire body into upper humeral surface and lower zonal surface; defining cutting parts by means of basic lines over the entire individual's body surface; individually measuring from auxiliary mutually perpendicular straight horizontal lines and vertical lines each defined part of cuttings and transferring these lines onto base for plotting contours of parts of developed body surface.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to obtaining of precise developed surface of body of concrete individual.
