FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform osseous-plastic trepanation above sinus-confluent area along with resecting the part of occipital bone up to large occipital foramen and partial of the 1st cervical vertebra, from osseous fragment of occipital bone one should exfoliate internal compact plate with internal occipital endostases to remove large portion of spongy substance without destroying the integrity of external compact plate. The treated osseous fragment should be applied to its former place to be fixed there. The innovation suggested provides the impact upon both craniovertebral reserve area and sinus-confluent one.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
