FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to neurosurgery. Titanium plate is used, which is selected according to size of trepanation opening. At its lateral edges of a strip for tight fit and sufficient for fixation to defect edges. Method includes creating an outer bulge of plate, and its height adjusted so that it is positioned above edge of foramen magnum.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce postoperative complications in form liquorodynamic and vascular disorders, which is achieved by modelling titanium plate.
