METHOD OF PRODUCTS MASKING Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2264424 C2

FIELD: methods of hardware products masking.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the methods of hardware products masking preventing a possibility of complete or partial identification of internal structures including the different enclosures into volumetric objects, both by a visual method and by means of X-ray emission. The method of masking of hardware products includes preparation of a masking material with which a product components, that are subject to masking, are coated or filled in. At that the absorption factor of the X-ray emission of the masking material is as much as possible close to the absorption factor of the X-ray emission of the masked components at their marginal divergence of no more than 5 %, and the mass shares of the components of the masking material are calculated as a minimum point of the following function of n variables:

,

where: n - a quantity of the components of the masking material; W1...Wn - the mass shares of the components of the masking material; μa - the absorption factor of the X-ray emission of the masking material; μa0 - the absorption factor of the X-ray emission of the masked components; E - the fixed value of a radiation energy from one in advance chosen interval of energy; k - the number of the node of the emission energy from 1 up to m within the energy, in which it is necessary to ensure the masking. The technical result consists in provision of continuity of an absorption factor of energy on the boundaries of a contact of the masked components with the masking material, which makes them indistinguishable and, accordingly, makes it impossible identification of the masked components by means of X-ray emission.

EFFECT: the invention ensures provision of continuity of an absorption factor of energy on the boundaries of a contact of the masked components with the masking material, which makes them indistinguishable.
