FIELD: friction control.
SUBSTANCE: composition of naturally occurring minerals containing 40-60% antigorite, 20-50% clinochlor, and 10-20% brown siltstone is subjected to two-step grinding jointly with modifier, namely naturally occurring schungite, in amount 1-5% of the weight of mineral composition. In particular, grinding is first effected on mill under an argon atmosphere until fraction 0.01-1.0 mm is obtained followed by magnetic separation, whereupon material is ground in liquid disintegrator within oil-argon medium to produce fraction below 1.0 μm. Proportion of industrial-grade oil to mineral composition with modifier in liquid disintegrator is chosen from weight ratio (60-65):(0.75-1.5). Resulting mixture is settled and suspension obtained after separation of sediment is poured into mechanism having rubbing parts together with fresh low-grade oil, suspension-to-oil weight ratio being (18-22):(0.75-1.5).
EFFECT: enabled preparation of pure and stable antifriction film, reduced wear velocity, accelerated starts, and reduced coefficient of friction.
