FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lubricants for friction assemblies made from iron- and nonferrous metal-based alloys. Composition of invention contains lubricant and ground natural mineral no larger than 10 mcm in size containing, wt %: serpentine 78-85, chlorite 2-3, magnetite 1-2, amakinite 1-2, amphibole 1.5-2, calcite 0.5-1, and x-ray amorphous phase 9-12. Composition is suitable for use in engines, mechanisms, and other apparatuses.
EFFECT: reduced (by 3-4 times) wear and friction loss (by 3-4 times) and therefore increased performance of machines and equipment, reduced consumption of lubricant, and prolonged overhaul time.
