FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed slider-crank mechanism contains main cranks with central output shafts, connecting shaft with gears, additional four-throw shaft, arms of additional crankshaft arranged at angle to axes of radii, and cylinders and pistons. Gears of connecting shaft fix relative position of main cranks through external gears. End necks of additional four-throw shaft are made for movement over circle at equal radii of main crank and additional four-throw shaft. Angle φ between axes of radii and axes of arms of additional four-throw shaft is found from inequality 0°≤φ<45° and 0°<φ≤180°, and trajectory of movement of axes of arm necks can be either elliptical, or straight obtained owing to narrowing of ellipse along its larger axis. Axes of cylinders are located on extension of larger axes of ellipses or on extension of said straight lines.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of internal combustion engine.
