FIELD: depilation equipment.

SUBSTANCE: depilation apparatus has casing and electric engine for driving depilation head equipped with hair pulling grips. Movable part of depilation head comprises adjustable running around surface, whose rectilinear generatrices are extending perpendicular to direction of movement, and is held by means of two lateral flanges. Each of hair pulling grips is movable along running around surface in a plane perpendicular to depilation zone and parallel to flanges, and each of said hair pulling grips comprises at least one movable plate driven by mechanical means in order to ensure closing or opening of said grips. Mechanical means comprises first control device provided on at least one flange and adapted to function as cam acting upon second control device for driving movable part of depilation head along direction substantially parallel to said flanges.

EFFECT: increased depilating effectiveness, simplified construction and prolonged service life of depilation apparatus.
