FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming U-shaped reservoir expanded to 2/3 of intestine segment length. Reservoir-to-urethra anastomosis is built. 7-10 seromuscular sutures are laid over distal intestine segment in transverse direction. Opening is formed in lower reservoir point proportionally to urethra diameter. Reservoir mucous membrane is turned with its inside out. Sutures are placed on proximal segment of the urethra with periurethral fat being captured. Intestine wall is invaginated into reservoir lumen 1.5 cm far from the opening with mucous membrane turned out all over the circumference. Upper edge of the roller touches the joined loop walls. When applying anastomosis with threads distributed over urethra circumference, mucous membrane of the urinary reservoir and both invaginated walls are sutured. The reservoir is attached to pelvic fascia.
EFFECT: increased reservoir volume; improved retaining function.
