TURBO-CYCLONE Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

Abstract RU 2264867 C1

FIELD: the invention refers to the field of division of liquid heterogeneous systems particularly to turbo-cyclones for division of suspensions.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used in chemical, food, medical and other fields of industry. The turbo-cyclone has a body with inlet, gravel and drain sockets and an impeller. The impeller is fulfilled in the shape of two discs placed concentrically to the body and transversely to its axle and having possibility to rotate with different angular speeds in one direction. At that the upper disc is firmly fixed on the inlet socket placed with possibility to rotate and the lower disc is firmly fixed on the shaft and has the possibility to travel along the axle of the body. The turbo-cyclone has a guiding element firmly fixed on the wall of the body fulfilled in the shape of a ring which lateral surface has a curvilinear crown in the direction to the vertical wall of the body and smoothly mated with it and the diameter of the horizontal section of the ring is increasing along the height of the apparatus in the direction of the movement of the suspension.

EFFECT: provides high dividing capability of the turbo-cyclone.
